Tijuana Entertainment, a leading producer of entertainment programming for domestic and international television networks, is a full-service turn-key production and post-production facility located in El Segundo, California.  Since its inception in 2006, Tijuana Entertainment is known for its compelling, visually arresting, cinematic productions that strive to inspire, entertain, and enlighten.


A few of our company’s productions include: the critically-acclaimed “Obsessed” for the A&E network; “Is She Really Going Out With Him?” for MTV; the second season of “The Two Coreys” starring Corey Feldman and Corey Haim for A&E; “Miss America: Countdown To The Crown” for TLC; “Shooting Sizemore” starring Tom Sizemore for VH1; “Mission: Manband” featuring 5 former boy band idols for VH1; and, in conjunction with Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films, the retro-‘80’s competition show “Shoot To Kill,” featuring The Bangles, Poison, and Rick Springfield for VH1.  In addition, Tijuana Entertainment has developed and piloted projects for notable talents like Bob Saget, Andy Dick, Timbaland, Eric Roberts, photographer Matthew Rolston, and Dr. Garry Corgiat (from “Breaking Bonaduce”).

Troy Searer

Troy Searer is CEO of Tijuana Entertainment. Troy has been instrumental as the creative force behind all of Tijuana Entertainment's productions. He co-executive-produced two substantial hits of the reality genre: "The Biggest Loser" for NBC and "Beauty and the Geek" for the CW. His distinctive talents brought viewers the groundbreaking "Breaking Bonaduce" series, as well as "Shooting Sizemore" and "Supergroup" for VH1. In addition, Troy creatively drove the second season of "The Two Coreys" on A&E to critical acclaim. Troy's earlier achievements include writing for and executive-producing NBC's "Friday Night" and creating, writing, and executive-producing the NBC Saturday morning sitcom "Hang Time."

Wally Parks

Wally Parks is Vice President of Production. Over the last five years, Wally has been involved with the production management of all programs produced by Tijuana Entertainment. Previously, he worked on "Beauty and the Geek," "Supergroup," and "Breaking Bonaduce" with John and Troy. Wally has produced for Comedy Central and Discovery's Fit-TV, as well as performed producing duties on award-winning commercials, documentaries, and a 3-D theme park motion picture. Throughout the 1990s, Wally produced over a dozen feature films.

David Gross

David Gross is Senior Vice President, Development. David began his career in the alternative television department at the William Morris Agency in New York. He then returned to Los Angeles and landed at MTV. As the network's Manager, and subsequently Director, of Series Development and Original Programming, he oversaw development and production of shows like "A Shot At Love with Tila Tequila," "That's Amore," "Parental Control," "Next," "The X Effect," "Wrestling Society X," and "From G's To Gents." Before settling at Tijuana, David served as VP, Reality Programming at the Lifetime network.

Angela Solis

Angela Solis is Executive in Charge of Production. Angela has helped manage many high-profile productions over the last decade beginning with dozens of hit series and specials on VH1 in her early career. Over the ensuing years, she has moved from production manager and line producer to her current position with Tijuana working on notable shows like “Average Joe” and “Three Wishes” for NBC, “Trick It Out” for MTV, and “Rock of Love,” “Hollywood Goes to New York,” and “Basement of Love” for VH1.

Ned Truslow

Ned Truslow is a Creative Executive. Along with producing duties on 3 seasons of "Soap Talk" and "Fashion Television," as well as stints on feature films, television pilots, and national commercials, Ned's extensive writing background has included work on various game shows, animated series, rock music articles and interviews, docudramas, comedic national tabloids, and computer games.

Brian Wendel

Brian Wendel is Post Producer. Brian has helped spearhead the post-production contributions on network hit shows like "The Biggest Loser," "For Love Or Money," and "Endurance" for NBC, "Breaking Bonaduce" and "Supergroup" for VH1, "Unanimous" for FOX and "Beauty and the Geek" for the CW. Brian's consummate experience is an invaluable asset to each Tijuana project.
